to me, concert photography is trying to capture the mood, sweat, presence and most of all emotion of what's happening on stage, or sometimes off of it...all the while dodging bodies, arms, heads, flying beer, and other hazards of the trade. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but the pursuit is always fun and challenging. every show is different, even the same band in the same club. and then there's always beer.

aside from this page, you can see my work on various band-related sites, and i am a regular contributor to www.transformonline.com and www.bigtakeover.com. additionally, i've done work for the print magazines Skyscraper and The Big Takeover, and shoot occasionally for www.thephoenix.com.
